Touch Bluetooth Headset Wins 2008 International CES Design and Engineering Award

Genius BT-03i Bluetooth headsetBecause of its unique touch design and easy-to-use features, the Genius BT-03i Bluetooth headset was awarded the 2008 International CES Design and Engineering Award at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES).

“The BT-03i is the first headset in the world to with a capacitance touch panel with touch slide for control.” It is designed to compliment Bluetooth cell phones and PDAs. It supports Bluetooth A2DP, hands free and headset profile.

“To make your voice clearer, the BT-03i utilizes CSR CvC (Clear Voice Capture). The control interface is through the touch panel on the right side. You can adjust the volume by simply sliding the bar using the touch sensor to answer a phone call. When talking, the phone icon will be illuminated so others understand your current status. The transparent look and curve shape is a new concept for a rear band headset and the silicon ear hook can fit any ear angle and shape.” The BT-03i features a rechargeable Li-on polymer battery which allows up to 15 hours of use.

The BT-03i will retail for $79.00 and is expected to be available in March.
